Positive feedback;   Last weekend I was in Wellington and met a golfer. I said “have you ever played at Dannevirke?” “A number of times, it’s a really good course” was the response, “we used to drive past it, thinking it’s just another country course. Now we stop on our way to the Bay to have a round”.

I’ve also seen a post on the Whats on facebook page from one of our Rarangi visitors, “we all had a great weekend. Credit to Dannevirke and their hospitality. It was enjoyed by all”.

These are not random comments, we are hearing them more frequently. It’s a credit to everyone from the greens staff, the various committees and the members. Regards Stephen.

The forecast for the week end is not that good, but then again weather forecasting can be pretty average on occasions as well. Lets just wait and see what Saturday brings. If you get to play a match over the week end, good luck.

Good Golfing👍

Off to the finals Twilight Golf; Don't forget Twilight Golf is played every Thursday, 4.30 to 5.30 pm tee off during daylight savings months. Great opportunity to try out the game, introduce family and friends to golf, or hone a few new skills over 9 holes. The weather gods have been much kinder to us, than in some areas of the country. With approximately 112 mils of rain this month, the course has gone from a dry, plenty of run summer track to a lush green autumn track in a couple of weeks. Plenty of visitors keeping Pat busy, so come on out and enjoy our great course. See you soon. Good Golfing👍 Bryan Burt Club Scribe
