New Zealand Indians Sports Association Golf Tournament (Saturday 24th September) Shotgun start at 10.30am.

Dannevirke Golf Club will be host to the New Zealand Indians Sports Association (NZISA) Golf Open Saturday 24th September sponsored by Shires Fruit & Vege Market Dannevirke.

NZISA hosted this particular tournament in 2015 with huge success and record entries. There are 90 registered so far from all around the country which is great for the district.

2022 marks 100 years in Business for Shires and we congratulate them on this fantastic milestone, during this time Shires has built a reputation for being an important part of the Dannevirke Community and we are proud to be associated with them.

There will be limited spots available for Dannevirke golfers ($30 entrée fee) please submit your interest by recording your name on the sheet at the club or contact Mike Mathews, Local entries will be confirmed.

With the continuation of rain that just doesn't want to stop, please be aware of wet muddy areas, and avoid said areas with carts, trundlers and walking, unless you need to play a shot from there. The less damage we do now, the quicker these areas repair when the rain stops and the sun shines.

Good Golfing

With approximately 112 mils of rain this month, the course has gone from a dry, plenty of run summer track to a lush green autumn track in a couple of weeks. Plenty of visitors keeping Pat busy, so come on out and enjoy our great course. See you soon. Good Golfing👍 Bryan Burt Club Scribe
