An invitation is now extended to Club members looking to get their game to Greenwood level, to come out at 11am Sundays, to join in practice rounds with this years squad members. The aim being to encourage members, to improve their handicaps and general play to the level required to be competitive at Greeenwood Cup level.

Planning Ahead;   Mark your calendar for Thursday 27th February 2025 through to Saturday 1st March for the "Dannevirke Golf Club 72 Hole Mens Matchplay Championship" . A small group of people have got behind an idea from Peter Gregory to host a 72 hole Matchplay event in Dannevirke. Peter has been a long time participant at similar events in Taumaranui and Poverty Bay, and wants to get one running in the south of the North Island. More details to follow.

Hopefully the wind and rain passes over tonight, and we are able to get out to the course over the weekend for a round of Golf.

Good Golfing👍

With approximately 112 mils of rain this month, the course has gone from a dry, plenty of run summer track to a lush green autumn track in a couple of weeks.
