What's On 5 May 2023?

Saturday 6th May; Card draw 11am, Club Championship Semi Finals On duty Zane Gregory & Bryan Burt
Thanks to all members for keeping the Championship matches moving. Most grades are at Semi finals stage, and Captain Mike reminds you all that the finals are scheduled for and will be played on Saturday 27th May
Clubhouse information. Eft-Pos. A machine has been placed in the draw below the card machine for guests wishing to pay green fees or camp fees. Captain Mike is arranging signage for fees and payment options, but in the mean time, if we have guests looking for payment options, please show them where the machine is.
Glass Recycling; Vice President Vaughan Hales reports that 8 wheelie bins are at the clubhouse for glass recycling. We have the option now of taking them directly into the recycling area at the rubbish dump, not the bin area as previously. For this to happen we have been asked to sort by colour. green, brown and clear. Any contamination will mean we lose this privilege. If you are taking a box of empties down from the bar, please ensure the right colour glass goes in the right bin, and then place the cardboard boxes in the cardboard bin. It is the right thing to be doing with all this glass, so please assist by processing correctly. If you are not confident to do so, leave the boxes beside the bins and we can do it for you later
This week end many of our members will be exchanging their golf clubs for shot guns, for the opening weekend of Duck Shooting. The range of shots you can achieve with golf clubs, can also be achieved with a shot gun. Air shot, pushed, short, you name it you can achieve it. Enjoy your weekend as stay safe. For those members playing Championship matches good luck .
Good golfing
