Saturday 3rd September; Card draw 11am. Continuation of matches please.
Takapau 30 Hole Strokeplay Tournament. $30 Entry fee, 7.30am Cup of tea, 8.30am Tee Off. Mini bus leaving Drums 7.45am
Club House bookings; We have a busy September at the Golf Club.
On Friday 2 September we have the Willy Veitch Memorial Tournament, tee off 10.00 am I understand members are welcome to play in this event.
Saturday 10 September a private function in the upstairs lounge, members will have to use the downstairs bar
Saturday 17 September, we’re hosting the Aotea Sports Club end of year prize giving. The upstairs lounge will be closed to members on the Friday and Saturday.
Saturday 24 September, the NZ Indian Association is holding a tournament, I understand members can participate in this tournament, more details will be advised closer to the time.
I appreciate that these events do cause some inconvenience to members, but it provides extra income for the club which ultimately benefits members.

Management Committee Meeting 24th August;
The fence behind the number three tee, and along the left of 3 and behind number 5 will be replaced next week . At the same time, the fences around the house and section are being replaced prior to the house going to market.
Monday 12th September. The ladies have an Inter zone at Dannevirke
Draught beer; The committee has decided to remove draught beer from the club house. Sales have continued to decline over the past few years, to the point it is unprofitable to continue.
Concerns; Please be aware when raising concerns, that they are directed to the correct person. Our committee members serve their club and don't take on the role to be abused. Please speak to them as you would like to be spoken too.
Motor homes Association Golf Tournament This is being held again over Waitangi week end.2023. The organisation from our end means we will again be hosting the final round on the Sunday .
