Wednesday 4th May; HB Eagles are hosting the annual triangular, between Wellington, Manawatu / Wanganui and Hawkes Bay. Pre covid this competition would have attracted close to 100 players. In today's world, not sure how many there will be PS Stephen Paewai is looking for barpersons to assist him from around 2 o'clock for a couple of hours. Please contact him if you can help.

Sisters Club;  This year we are celebrating 50 years playing of the Sister’s Club tournament in Patea on Queen’s Birthday weekend. It’s hoped we can get a good turnout given the Dannevirke Golf Club was one of the original clubs that founded this tournament. We will be leaving on Friday 3 June staying in Hawera and returning on Monday 6 June. I need to confirm names and numbers with the Patea Golf Club and the Kiwi Court Motel within the next couple of weeks, so can you please contact me to confirm your place on the trip. The approximate cost is $300 which includes travel, accommodation and green fees. Regards Steve

Never fear the cameras are there. Captain Mike spent several hours checking security footage, and was able to solve the matter of the missing electric trundler.  Judge Michael has passed sentence on said culprits who were not Club members!

Good luck to those with matches and Pennants this week end. Don't forget to write Wiffin Cup on your qualifying card if you wish to enter the Match play rounds.

Good Golfing
