What's on 4 March 2022

Upstairs Lounge; Saturday 5 March the upstairs lounge is closed for a private function. Could golfers please use the downstairs bar. Also I need a barman please to help Dipak, please contact me asap Thanks Stephen
Monday 7th March; On Monday morning 7 March we have a group of trainee professionals, (4 –6) playing at the golf club. As part of their training they go to different clubs in the Hawkes Bay and Manawatu to experience different playing conditions.
Pitch Marks; A pitch mark is the indent on a green when your ball lands on the full. Some players don't believe they make pitch marks, but trust me, there are plenty being left unrepaired every week. Please look for, and repair any pitch marks you make or see on the greens. Fellow players and the greens staff will appreciate it. If unsure how to repair a pitch mark, ask a player in your four.
Slow Play; A gentle reminder to please keep up with the group in front of you. Losing a fairway or more means everyone behind you is being held up. When you get to the next tee, if its your honor, tee off then record the score from the previous hole. A lot of time is wasted in this area.
We have many new members playing Championships for the first time. Possibly playing match play for the first time. For the experienced players, please assist the new members. Nobody became a good match player without playing their first match!
That being said, enjoy the experience, play fair and play well. Good luck
Good Golfing
