Saturday 7th October; 11.30am card draw, Starters Mike and ?. Members of the Greenwood Cup team for the following week end will have a practice round, before being presented with their shirts after golf.

Clubhouse; This Saturday 7 October, we are hosting the Aotea Sports Club end of year function. Therefore the upstairs lounge will be closed on Friday and Saturday so if everyone could use the downstairs lounge please.
On Friday 20 October I have an enquiry, still to be confirmed, about using our upstairs lounge for a corporate event for approximately 35 people. It starts at 5 pm and will finish by 10 pm. I don’t know if they need the bar at this stage but I’ll need someone to be present particularly to lock up. If you’re able to help please let me know. Regards Stephen

👉Saturday 26th July; Matches please. Competitions still running are Wiffin Cup, Sattrup & Brannigan and Presidents Cup. Card draw 11.30am Duty Zane, house Majken 👉 Saturday 2nd August. SHB 27 Hole Strokeplay Tournament. Entries close Wednesday 30th July, for the draw publication on Thursday 31st July.. No post entries (No entries on the day) We currently have about 70 entries. Reminder; Members are asked to bring a plate for a shared meal after our 27 hole tournament. 👉 Saturday 9th August; Lui Paewai Trophy. Best stableford by a club member on the day. The Lui Paewai is a sort after Trophy. The forecast looks good for the weekend. If we have heavy frosts, please delay your start time so as not to burn the fairways and greens. Evening all, Saturday 19th July; Presidents Cup Round 1 Matchplay . Duty Match Committee Chalky, House Johnny Sunday 20th July, HGC event. A travel group from Hawkes Bay who visit a course once a month. Approximately 50 - 55 golfers, staring at 9am on Tees 1, 5, 10 and 16. Still plenty of room for locals. Please be aware that players are coming from four directions, so don't just jump on a tee, make sure you they are at least half a fairway away before starting in front of them. Captain Zane is looking for anyone who can help prepare 50 burgers for our visitors around 1pm.
