What's on this weekend at your Golf Club

Kitt Kerr Hape Simpson Foursomes. Last Saturday would have to be one of the larger fields for the men's foursomes for some years (Post 1970s) . Twenty three pairs was a brilliant effort, so thanks guys for putting aside the thing about foursomes, and just doing it. With that size field, the atmosphere in the Club house was electric.

Saturday 12th September; 11am Card Draw,. Continuing on with Sattrup & Brannigan and Presidents Cup Matches. Getting to the business end of Sattrup & Brannigan with youth v experience, Ben & Jamie taking on George & Ian, plus the girls boys match, Wendy & Margaret v Chalky & Syd.  Good luck to you all

Match Committee; Captain Michael has called a Meeting for 10am Saturday please

Club House A reminder from Stephen Paewai,
 The club has been hired out on Friday 11 September for the Aotea Sports Club end of year prize giving and on Saturday 12 September there is a birthday party. So the upstairs lounge will be closed on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Golfers to drink downstairs please. Thanks everyone for your co operation.

Security; ( Grrr or lack of ) President Tony has sent me a couple of Observation Reports from our Security Patrol Company. The good news is they are doing their job properly as they are finding all sorts of insecure doors, like last Sunday, the Clubhouse was locked and alarmed, but the ranch slider into the shop was wide open, Tuesday, the cart shed was left open, and on several occasions the trundler shed has been left open. Even if you are not a key holder, if you think you could be last in the trundler shed, please close the door behind you, others can always reopen it if necessary. Key holders, please check all doors around the clubhouse to make sure they are secure. TP might like reading, but Observation Reports don't cut it, so please a little more attention to detail from us all would be appreciated.

Cape Turnagain; . The Cape golf club at Herbertville are hosting their firms day tomorrow tee off at 12 noon. Head on out there, you will be well fed and watered, and you might play ok as well

Lets hope tonight's weather report is as inaccurate as normal, so we can hit the fairways this weekend.

Good Golfing;
