Saturday 1st May; Wiffin Cup Matchplay Round 1, Card draw 11am, Please advise starter of matches being played.
Sunday 2nd May; GHB Pennants Round 4 at Various locations. Handicap 3, are at home 11am tee off (6 groups off No1, 3 off No 10)
Championships; with Semi finals on the 8th and finals on the 22nd, please keep matches up to date, bearing in mind Coronation Cup players will not be available 15th & 16th

Seniors; A reminder that next Tuesday May 4th we are due to visit Waipawa. As usual the clubhouse will be open from about9.30 and tee off is at 10.30. The weather looks promising with a fine day predicted with light winds and a temperature of 18 degrees. Cheers Gus
Results & News: , Anzac Day drew a small field, but with some quality golf. 19 men and 3 ladies participated, with Rex Munn, taking the Waitahora Cup, with the best overall stableford 41 points. The ladies aggregate for men v ladies was 32, against the men 28.7. Well done ladies
Eagles Golfing Society of NZ (Inc) fundraising raffle to promote & foster junior golf in NZ. Our local Eagles again have raffle tickets to sell, with 33 prizes of Taylormade product. $2 per tickets or take a book of 10 and get two Srixon AD33 balls for free. Tickets will be in the club house, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until all sold. Your support with this raffle is appreciated.
LOST; One of our lady members has lost a sterling silver ring, somewhere on Wednesday, Could be around the course or clubhouse. If this is found, please flick me an email, and I will relay the owners details to you. I am sure the finder will be well rewarded with a home cooked chocolate or banana cake!
Plenty of golf to be played over the next few days, with the Wiffin Cup, Pennants, Seniors in Waipawa, and our Eagles playing a Quadrangular at Eketahuna on Wednesday, and our ladies off to Cape Turnagain for their annual ladies tournament. Travel safely and play well folks.
