(Norsewood are unable to field a team) Pongaroa's captain Richard Greave is working with golf HB to see if there is a way to play this in two rounds rather than three. At this stage plan on two rounds Saturday commencing at 8.30am. Our selectors have named the following team.

1   John Garnett, 2 Craig Evans, 3 Zane Gregory, 4 Richie Gray, 5 Shane Evans, 6 Amrit Prasad, 7 Eru Hauiti, 8 Bryan Burt, 9 Tewai Hauiti, 10 Tama Petera Snr, 11 Norm Evans, 12 Tony Nielson.

Reserves, Mike Matthews, Ben Nielson, Peter Gregory.

Another good week for drying out the course. Please under no circumstances should anyone be walking on the newly sown 17th tee. If your tee lands on there, leave it there, likewise with you ball. It has been sown, so the best result will come if people stay off it. See you all over the weekend

Good Golfing👍

Great opportunity to try out the game, introduce family and friends to golf, or hone a few new skills over 9 holes. The weather gods have been much kinder to us, than in some areas of the country. With approximately 112 mils of rain this month, the course has gone from a dry, plenty of run summer track to a lush green autumn track in a couple of weeks. Plenty of visitors keeping Pat busy, so come on out and enjoy our great course. See you soon. Good Golfing👍 Bryan Burt Club Scribe
